Lawo will exhibit its latest crystal broadcast console and two of its audio production consoles, as well as their latest software updates, at this year’s NAB Show.
The company said attendees who stop by its booth will be able to see the its latest crystal console. The crystal is built on Ravenna/AES67 networking standards, which ensures compliance with SMPTE ST2110-30/-31 for audio and ST2022-7 for redundancy.
The crystal has two modes. In its Power Core operational mode, it functions as a standalone mixer powered by Lawo’s Power Core engine, with DSP and I/O capabilities. In its Controller mode, the crystal serves as an extension for Lawo’s mc² production console, which the company says allows operators to manage large-scale productions.
The crystal is available in light and dark versions with six, eight or 14 faders. It can also be extended with customizable virtual extension displays.

Lawo’s mc²36 and mc²56 audio production consoles will also be featured at its NAB booth.
Its mc²36 has 384 processing channels when running its new 12.0.0 software version, the company said. The console has ST2110, AES67, Ravenna and Ember+ compatibility.

The mc²56 is designed for IP production environments and has support for SMPTE 2110, AES67/Ravenna, Dante and MADI audio streams.
Lawo will also present the latest software for its mc² audio mixing systems at its NAB Show booth. That includes version 10.12, which introduced a strip assign page to improve channel management.
Its software version 12.0 enabled native support for the HOME mc² DSP app and increased the mc²36 MkII’s processing capacity from 256 to 384 channels.
