Dielectric plans to exhibit recent FM antenna and RF systems advancements at its NAB Show 2025 booth.
In a release, the antenna and RF systems manufacturer said it has recently begun shipping its DCR-E FM antenna, the seventh model added to its DCR ring-style antenna family. The company said the ring-style antennas offer low wind load, which reduces stress on tower structures.
“Worldwide in radio, we are seeing strong activity in the replacement market due to aging FM infrastructure,” said Keith Pelletier, Dielectric’s president, in the release.
Dielectric will also preview a new ring-style antenna that will be formally introduced in June. The manufacturer said it will be the first in a new series of products.

Pelletier said that many replacement projects are requesting ring-style antennas due to both budget and optimization purposes across all transmitter power levels. He cited interest in North America, South America and southeast Asia, including a recent Australia project awarded to Dielectric with the Perth-based BAI Communications, as Radio World reported in November.

The manufacturer also noted interest in the master antenna market for its reconfigurable manifold combiners, including for large-market owners that expect to add new tenants. The manifold architecture supports additions to a master antenna site by plugging a filter into an open port and adding transmission line, the company said, without increasing a station’s RF footprint.

Dielectric said it recently was awarded a new FM master antenna project via its partnership with SCMS.

The manufacturer said its active FM and TV products mimic the company’s recent work in the scientific community using RF tech to address global energy needs. Those scientific applications use passive RF components such as amplifiers, transmission lines, components and antennas.
The company said its work in science may provide cross-over benefits to its broadcast products.
Dielectric will also demonstrate reconfigurable manifold combiners for TV master systems, along with broadband antennas for ATSC 1.0 and 3.0 systems, at its NAB Show booth.
