Tieline Technology has added new file recording and playback features in the ViA remote codec and they will be on show for the first time at IBC.
Touchscreen record and playback functions allow users to stream live, record, and play audio files simultaneously, select and record any input, return audio and file playback audio and view and manage recordings.
The recent advances also allow users to create playlists of local recordings and imported files; control playback routing to codec encoders, as well as analog and digital outputs or record media; use Cue to monitor playback offline; and record entire programs ready to upload as podcasts.
“Using Tieline’s ViA is like taking an entire radio studio with you on the road,” said Charlie Gawley, VP Sales APAC & EMEA. “There’s no need for additional gear like mixers, equalisers, compressors, recorders and playback machines – with ViA everything is combined in a compact and lightweight portable codec.”
