Super Hi-Fi’s Program Director is the recipient of the Radio World “Best in Market” Award for 2024.

The company calls Program Director “the world’s first operating system for building and scaling amazing radio.” It’s a suite of AI-powered, web-based tools that “saves time and money by reimagining the workflow and operational model for curating, programming, scheduling and broadcasting radio, so you can deliver world-class radio experiences, automatically.”

Awards are given annually by Future’s broadcast technology brands Radio World, TV Tech and TVBEurope, and are open to any company that launched a product/service or brought new upgrades to an existing one in 2024. Companies pay a fee to enter. Information about the program can be found here.

Program Director helps companies manage their asset libraries across all of their radio stations in a simple interface. It provides recommendations and data insights about the music catalog, and uses AI technology to choose, sequence and schedule music logs. Super Hi-Fi’s MagicStitch AI produces automatic segues for the music programming and layers and mixes in voice tracks, imaging elements and advertising.

Program Director also now includes Voicetrack Fusion, a workflow tool that brings together aspects of the recording, production and shift management process for voice-tracked radio stations. Each track is mastered for FM broadcast using the new VoiceIQ 2.0 AI mastering tool that removes background noise, tone-matches to the user’s custom reference standard, eliminates plosives and clipping, and optimizes the dynamic range.
