A new awards program is recognizing the importance of sustainability in the media industry.
The National Association of Broadcaster’s announced it is now accepting entries for the new Excellence in Sustainability Awards, which recognizes individuals, companies and products for innovative ideas that promote conservation and reusability of natural resources and foster economic and social development in the media technology industry.
The Excellence in Sustainability Awards includes three specific categories: the Sustainability Champion Award, Sustainability Leadership Award and Sustainability Product or Service Award.
The deadline for submissions is April 3. Nominations will be judged by an independent panel of sustainability experts and will be awarded to small, medium, large and nonprofit organizations in each of the three categories. The NAB Show Excellence in Sustainability Awards will be presented during a ceremony at the NAB Show on April 16, 2023, in Las Vegas.
