NAB Show New York Draws 12,000 Attendees

The 2024 show also featured 50 first-time exhibitors

The 2024 NAB Show New York concluded on Thursday, Oct. 10, with an estimated 12,000 broadcast, media and entertainment professionals having attended.

The annual event, once again held at the Javits Center in NYC, was collocated with the AES Show.

In a press release, the NAB said 250 exhibitors — 50 of which were first-timers — could be found across the show floor.

NAB said the show “offered a comprehensive look at the latest trends and innovations shaping the industry” and included 20 new product launches.

Overall, these numbers are slightly down from the year prior. In 2023, NAB reported that the show drew 12,231 people to the Big Apple, and included 270 exhibitors.

As far as show attendance goes, however, the NAB says it is continuing to reach core demographics.

“NAB Show New York’s unique positioning in the media capital of the world attracted a high-quality audience of decision-makers, with 79% of attendees actively involved in buying decisions, which is up roughly 6% from last year, and 34% serving as final decision-makers,” said NAB in the release. “Notably, three-quarters of attendees do not attend NAB Show in Las Vegas, offering exhibitors the chance to connect with a fresh regional audience.”

Next year’s NAB Show New York will be held Oct. 22–23, 2025.
