Wheatstone Adds ACI Plug-In to DMX Series

Expands flexibility for smaller or budget studio operations

At the IBC show in Amsterdam, Wheatstone will show a new automation control plug-in for its Audioarts DMX console system.

DMX includes a console surface and mix engine with local I/O and five-port Ethernet switch; it integrates with WheatNet IP audio networks. It comes in an eight- or 16-channel frame.

“Now with the addition of the WheatNet IP automation control protocol (ACI), the DMX console system is plug-in ready for full control of major playout and automation systems as well as WheatNet IP elements and other third-party partner brands,” the manufacturer said.

ACI is Wheatstone’s control protocol for its WheatNet IP studio network. “With this, DMX studios now have full playout and automation control directly from the DMX console and can add touchscreen panels using WheatNet IP ScreenBuilder.”
