At the IBC Show, ENCO is highlighting further development of its tools for radio teams that deploy artificial intelligence technology.
In Amsterdam it is showing productized versions of SPECai and aiTrack.
“Their qualities are largely similar in performance and results thanks to their use of generative AI models to create compelling multi-lingual scripts, and the use of synthetic voice engines to produce natural sounding voiceovers in many languages,” it said in a release.
SPECai provides a software toolset for account managers to create localized spec ads on their personal devices while sitting with clients.
The tool creates copy with generative AI, providing multiple script options. It then transitions to voiceover creation, with the freedom to choose from various voice styles, adjust tone of voice and dial in phonetic pronunciations. Then the user can add music beds from Benztown.
New for IBC, ENCO has added a voice cloning feature to SPECai. “Customers can now bring recognizable voices they have authority to use into new ads through SPECai’s ability to replicate the voice of the client, on-air talent or another known presenter upon analyzing a short user-uploaded audio sample.”
Also from ENCO, aiTrack is an AI production toolset built into the company’s DAD automation workflow.
“aiTrack is a dynamic content insertion tool that leverages generative AI models and synthetic speech engines to dynamically provide engaging content for listeners in diverse ways. aiTrack essentially assumes the role of the AI DJ, and amplifies the on-air experience by injecting more creativity into on-air broadcasts.”
It allows users to pre-schedule and customize automated voice tracks. Operators can create and schedule unique content, such as summarizing earlier shows or giving a detailed introduction of future song blocks, within DAD for playout at specified times.
The IBC demonstrations also include integration of AI technology into the new enCaption Sierra live captioning and translation system, which also builds in a hardware captioning encoder.
