At IBC2018, WorldCast Connect will be showcasing the latest advancements of the WorldCast Manager, the firm’s Enterprise NMS/OSS software for the broadcast, telecommunication, satellite and cable industries.
WorldCast Connect says its WorldCast Manager is a scalable and multi-faceted platform, which centralizes the monitoring and management of all connected devices across one or multiple networks, locally and across multiple locations.
The company points out that the solution aims to maximize the uptime and performance of IP-enabled equipment with its set of status alerts, operational tracking, insightful visual reports, and workflow capabilities.

For disaster recovery situations, the WorldCast Manager now features a new software redundancy model. This new feature enables redundant solution deployment across multiple independent nodes and real-time data backup.
WorldCast Connect explains that this new software redundancy model is in line with its objective to simplify system maintenance and drive down the total cost of ownership for its customers.
