“Each of these individuals left an indelible mark on the audiences they connected with and the businesses that they were associated with,” said Kraig Kitchin, co-chair of the Radio Hall of Fame, in a press release. “We’re grateful for their talents and only regret that they were not able to receive this special recognition while alive.”

Both the legends and the separate inductees for the 2024 Radio Hall of Fame class will be announced at its annual induction ceremony on Sept. 19 in Nashville.

2022 Radio Hall of Fame Inductee Lon Helton will serve as the master of ceremonies for this year’s event. Tickets are currently on sale online. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Museum of Broadcast Communications.

The Radio Hall of Fame honors notable radio personalities and showcases their accomplishments in the Chicago-based Museum of Broadcast Communications. Each year, 24 nominations in six categories are determined by the organization’s nominating committee, which is comprised of industry leaders.
