The beginning of Super Bowl week is a logical time to make announcements about sports betting and radio content. Here are two.
First, Audacy has rebranded its BetQL Network as The BetMGM Network.
The company said it is strengthening its relationship with sports betting operator BetMGM.
“The BetMGM Network will continue delivering around 100 hours of original weekly content, including flagship shows like ‘You Better You Bet,’ ‘BetMGM Tonight,’ ‘Bet Sweats’ and ‘The Daily Tip.’” It said BetMGM will continue to serve as the network’s sportsbook and retain category exclusivity across its programming.
The announcement was made by Mitch Rosen, vice president of the BetMGM Network, and Casey Hurbis, chief marketing officer of BetMGM.
The network provides weekly content to 90 stations and is heard via the Audacy digital platform and several partners including SiriusXM, YouTube and NBC Sports Now.
Separately, sports betting network VSiN said it is expanding its own partnership with Lotus Las Vegas.
Lotus has rebranded AM station KLAV “1230 The Game” as “VSiN Las Vegas 1230 The Game.” The station is one of eight owned by Lotus in the market; its main studio is on the floor of the sportsbook at Circa Resort and Casino.
The announcement was made by Natalie Marsh, general manager at Lotus Broadcasting, and Brian Musburger, president and chief business officer at VSiN. Marsh noted that the station was an early adopter of VSiN content.
VSiN content is also carried by SiriusXM and YouTube TV and on the VSiN Watch app.
