Nic Blomstrand Joins Kintronics

Company cites his “diverse end-to-end experience in broadcast transmission systems”

Nic Blomstrand is bringing his engineering talents to Bristol.

Kintronic Labs is pleased to announce the addition of Nic Blomstrand to the Kintronic Labs engineering ‘A Team,’” the company said in its announcement.

That team includes President/CEO Joshua King, PE, BSEE; Senior RF Systems Engineer Jim Moser, MSEE; and Senior RF Antenna System Design Engineer Dr. Bobby Cox, PHDEE. Blomstrand will be an RF systems engineer.

Blomstrand is a former market chief engineer for iHeartMedia, and then for five years he was a corporate RF engineer for its Tiger Team, working in project design, implementation and execution for major AM and FM projects.

He also has done contracting and consulting services including studio buildouts and automation, transmitter site design, and antenna modeling/tuning and implementation. He holds a BSEE degree from the University of Wisconsin.

“We are very excited to have Nic with his diverse end-to-end experience in broadcast transmission systems as the newest member of the Kintronic Labs engineering team,” the company stated.

Kintronic is based in Bluff City just outside of Bristol, Tenn.
