SummitMedia LLC has named Mike Hogan as its new president and general manager to oversee operations at its Omaha, Neb., cluster.

That includes FM stations KSRZ, KKCD, KQCH and KEZO; AM station KXSP; and “The Todd-n-Tyler Radio Empire” morning show.

Hogan most recently was market president for iHeartMedia in Sioux City, Iowa.

Summit highlighted his 25 years’ experience in management, sales and marketing. “Hogan is no stranger to Omaha. From 1999 to 2008, he led sales and managed accounts for Journal Broadcasting, former operators in the region,” it said, winning awards during that tenure.

According to Summit, “Hogan says he learned many of his leadership skills as a professional square dance caller, which he began at 13. In the last 21 years, he has developed leadership skills, time management, contract negotiations, stage presence and public speaking skills by holding national leadership roles and conducting seminars at dozens of national conventions and state organizations.”
