Burk Promotes Matt Leland to VP

Industry veteran joined the company in 2013

Burk Technology has promoted Matt Leland to vice president of sales.

“Matt is well known and respected in the radio broadcast industry, with over three decades’ experience in technical, consultative product sales in RF and monitoring equipment,” the manufacturer said in its announcement.

Before joining Burk in 2013 he was national sales manager for radio products for the Dielectric brand of SPX Communication Technology. He also has worked at Shively Labs and Microwave Techniques. His most recent position at Burk was director of sales.

The company, based in Littleton, Mass., makes transmitter facility control systems for the broadcast industry.

President Peter Burk highlighted Leland for his “strong background in RF applications and technology” and said it is a natural fit with Burk’s remote control and monitoring products. “His contributions to the company’s growth and profitability over the past 11 years have had a significant impact on the organization.”
