Streaming audio platform TuneIn will be integrated into Afeela, a high-tech electric vehicle brand from Sony Honda Mobility that will begin sales next year.

The collaboration allows for the native installation of TuneIn into Afeela vehicles, TuneIn said in its announcement.

Sony Honda Mobility is a Japanese joint venture of Sony Group Corp. and Honda Motor Co. Ltd. The Afeela website hints at a high-end, highly techno car. Features include augmented reality tools, a personal agent with Microsoft technology, noise canceling, in-cabin games, lots of sensors and screens including a pillar-to-pillar dashboard display, spatial audio and car doors that open as you walk up to it.

TuneIn has a presence in other EVs including Tesla, Rivian, Lucid and XPENG. The company recently signed a deal with Great Wall Motor to integrate into the infotainment systems of several of its new models.
