Beasley Names New CFO

Lauren Burrows Coleman will succeed Marie Tedesco

Beasley Broadcast Group has named Lauren Burrows Coleman to be its new chief financial officer starting Nov. 1.

She succeeds Marie Tedesco, who will retire from Beasley after 33 years.

Burrows Coleman was global head of strategic corporate and commercial finance at Wayfair. She has held leadership roles at private equity firms WindSail Capital Group and Wind Point Partners and at GE Capital. She started as an investment banker in the Communications & Media group of Lehman Brothers.

Burrows Coleman holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B. cum laude from Dartmouth College.

Beasley is the fifth-largest commercial radio group in the United States by revenue, according to BIA Advisory Services, with an estimated $232.2 million in revenue last year, owning approximately 57 stations in 13 markets. In September it executed a reverse stock split to regain compliance with the minimum share price on NASDAQ.
