A congressional subcommittee is basing a hearing on the topic of images and stereotypes offered by people in media, including the recently fired Imus.
Called “From Imus to Industry: The Business of Stereotypes and Degrading Images,” the House Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection, chaired by Bobby Rush, D-Ill., has slated a hearing for July 11.
