DEVA Broadcast’s DB7012 DAB monitoring tool is fitted with a DSP-based tuner and supports AAC, AAC+, MP3 and RTP.
The unit is compatible with various media platforms, including Icecast and Shoutcast. It also offers support for Program Associated Data (PAD), as well as all standard bitrates and VBR, and automatically displays live metadata.
In addition, the DB7012 features local alarm options and online notifications via rear-panel alarm GPOs, email and SNMP in the case of audio loss or change in the DAB signal. Thus maintenance staff can quickly respond and prevent prolonged signal loss.

Users can program the DB7012 through the front-panel menu or remotely through a PC, tablet or smart phone via a standard web browser. iOS and Android devices are also supported.
