From our Who’s Buying What page comes another indication of the growing popularity of tools for radio that are based in artificial intelligence.

ENCO Systems, Inc., Benztown and Compass Media Networks said 25 radio groups including Beasley Media Group and Connoisseur Media now are using the SPECai spot creation service, which received the Radio World “Best of Show” Award at the NAB and IBC Shows this year.

SPECai uses AI to generate fully produced spec spots; a new voice cloning feature allows users to clone authorized voices when creating a spec spot. Users can customize the cloned product to suit an intended tone or emotion.

The tool will be featured at this week’s NAB Show New York in Booth #907 at the Javits Center.
