DNAV Promotes Production Engineer Mike Adachi

He's worked alongside popular music artists including Post Malone, Drake, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift

DNAV, a consultation firm and systems integrator, has promoted Mike Adachi to a full-time field services engineer. Adachi, a contractor with DNAV since August, will now “bring his audio processing expertise and background as a well-known music producer and production engineer in house,” according to a company press release. DNAV says Adachi has worked alongside popular music artists including Post Malone, Drake, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift.

Daniel Hyatt, principal of DNAV North America, says Adachi is a syndicated mix show host with 20 years of experience on both sides of the microphone. Adachi will now support DNAV’s representation of the Orban audio processing line, tapping into his broadcast experience as the commercial and imaging director for Cox Radio Hawaii from 2004-2012.

“[Adachi’s] extensive experience in broadcast engineering lends itself to his duties of developing DNAV’s standards-based IP transport solutions, including SMPTE 2110-30 for PCM audio over IP and SMPTE 2022-7 for network path redundancy,” read the press release. “He will also support DNAV’s representation of Audinate’s Dante audio and video solutions.”

DNAV says Adachi will cover regional field service work from the Midwest to the East Coast, and assist with software programming for products from Sierra Automated Systems and other networked radio systems. DNAV has made other additions to its national team recently, including the additions of Brad Roybal and Ben Ackerman as field services engineers covering other territories.
