The third FM Engineering Executive Conference, hosted by antenna manufacturer Dielectric at a resort in Maine, offered an opportunity for broadcasters to examine new technologies and concepts.
Sessions, conducted by Dielectric engineers and guest speakers, included looks at digital broadcast antenna design, monitoring and control, digital radio broadcast problems and solutions.
President Garrett VanAtta said it was the company’s largest conference to date. It included guest speakers Tim Bealor of Broadcast Electronics, Ben Brinitzer of Clear Channel, Steve Fluker of Cox Radio, Terry Cockerill of Harris and Gary Liebisch of Nautel.
