The European Broadcasting Union has appointed new heads of TV, Radio and Strategy.

The appointments complete the managerial team of the new EBU media department, which is directed by Annika Nyberg Frankenhaeuser who took up her position in February this year.

Bettina Brinkmann was appointed head of TV, Christian Vogg head of Radio and Nicoletta Iacobacci head of Strategy. The appointments take effect Sept. 1.

Head of Radio Christian Vogg comes from EBU German member WDR. He joined WDR as an editor, reporter and presenter, working mainly for radio. He then became senior advisor for the Director General, and was also involved in the company’s new digital strategy.
