Broadcast equipment maker AEQ has a new digital console system, Capitol. It offers an eight-fader control surface bucket as the main interface.

The Capitol’s processor/I-O box can also be remote controlled with a PC or be operated via touchscreen with a GUI matching the control surface. It also offers a monitoring widget for managers, producers and others to watch via IP.

Onboard tools for Capitol include analog (line/mic), AES/EBU and IP inputs. USB ports are also available. A GPIO bank is also available for use. Analog 48V preamps are included for analog input use. Digital hybrids and MADI are optional.

The Capitol is available as a desktop model or a rack-mountable/countersunk low-profile version.
