ABC Radio Covers London Games

For Olympics fans in Australia, starting Saturday July 28, 12 ABC commentators will provide more than 200 hours of radio coverage during 16 days of Olympics in London.
Listeners can tune into the live broadcasts on ABC local radio stations throughout the country; on ABC London 2012 — the broadcaster’s special events digital radio station, which is available in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne; or online.
Sports coverage has played an important role in ABC’s programming since the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. The broadcaster, which is celebrating it 80th year, says it sent its first commentary team to the Helsinki Games in 1952.
ABC Grandstand will also be reporting on the London 2012 Olympics Games via its website.
